Hi

Apologies, but I cannot find the answer to this.

I have an Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AMD 880G motherboard and 8GB of Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit but I cannot get the memory to run at 1600mhz. I'm using an AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition.

Please can someone guide me on how to set the correct values to get the memory to work at 1600mhz? I've put two pictures below of the CPU-Z tabs.

I know this is a noob question, but I just don't understand. Thanks very much :)

Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

The simplest is to set the DRAM Frequency -> DDR3-1600MHz if that's not available then you'll need to raise the FSB.

I would recommend setting ALL the values and settings below.

BIOS:
CPU Overclocking -> DOCP
DRAM OC Profile -> DDR3-1600MHz
DRAM Voltage -> 1.65v ; use the closest menu value 1.64-1.66v

optional:
DRAM Timing Control /Enter
DRAM CAS# Latency -> 9
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay -> 9
DRAM RAS# PRE Time -> 9
DRAM RAS# ACT Time -> 24
--
DRAM Command Rate -> 2T

Save & Exit

Good Luck!
