I got a barebone kit over at Tiger and the PSU was totally crap! I need a ATX PSU that is STABLE and about $50 or less I am on a very tight budget.

We need to know your system specs for starters and maybe your dead PSU wattage and model just for an idea of what went wrong.

Here a two PSU's I will recommend that are on the cheap( price that is ) :

But there is no telling if they will power you system yet. For a quality PSU you really want to stick with Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, XFX, and PC Power & Cooling. And really its going to be hard to find any of those to meet your needs and stay on budget.

We're not going to criticize your system, but it is helpful to know the specs for making a psu reccomendation, along with your locale.
If you can't swing the Corsair 430 or Antec 500 that have already been reccomended, the Xigmatek 400 ( also at Newegg ) fits your $50 budget.

If you can swing a mail in rebate(its $60 - 20 dollars after rebate), the Antec EA430D should work fine.
