NEW Gaming System Configuration

:hello:  friends,

I am buying a new system. But i am not really sure what to go for. Will be buying by next weekend.

Parts to be purchased are:

Processor - Preferable Intel
MOBO - EVGA / INTEL
RAM - Only available here in my city is transcend will try to get Kingston if possible
Graphics Card - Definitely a NVIDIA card not interested in ATI
PSU - (Please advice for a specific brand but maybe difficult for me to get it in India)
Cabinet - Will look for one with 2-3 fans and a spacious one.
Hard Drive (500GB SATA) - Definitely Segate.


Approximate Purchase Date: Latest by 27th November 2010

Budget Range: Maximum $750USD

System Usage Most important: gaming

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, ncix.com tigerdirect.com

Parts Preferences: Definitely a Intel Based system

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Yes if within the same budget

Monitor Resolution: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200

Your mixing quality levels there a bit imo,
i5 and evga with a 'not-sure' psu and cheaper/slower ram and an older gfx card,

I suggest filling this in with as much detail as you can for us and see what people throw up for you

I assume your gaming so I think you'll probably end up with an Amd build
(unless you insist on intel ofc) :p
