Looks like you have a low budget power supply. Check first to see if it has the 6 pin pci-e connector required for some video cards. We also need a budget. Price ranges from $35 up to about $600.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I have:
1 x PCIe x16
1 x PCIe x1
2 x PCI

Hope that helps, as for a budget, I'd be looking at spending no more than £200 :)

Have you checked for the 6 pin pci-e connector on your power supply? Given your low end power supply, I'll recommend a lower video card solution to be safe. Checkout the xfx HD657X-ZHF2 for $64.99 after rebate at newegg. If you have the 6 pin pci-e connector on your power supply, checkout some of the 450 femi chipset cards. The xfx card I mentioned has a lifetime warranty if you register it online.

I've just checked and they are all 4 pin connectors (sorry for seeming slow)...would you recommend upgrading my PSU then? Any recommended brands/wattage?

And by the way...I currently have an Nvidia GTS 450 graphics card...completely forgot too mention this previously

AHA. Your current video card is pretty good. I can't recommend a high end card without a good power supply. Get a corsair or antec with over 40 amps on a single 12v rail. I don't know what other brands are in your part of the world, but those 2 in the usa are highly recomended.
