Driver software on separate HDD from OS
Dec 6, 2012, 9:07 PM
My new laptop came pre-installed with a 20gig SSD drive for the OS. Once I installed all my drivers I wasn't left with enough storage for updates.
Does it cause a problem to have all of the drivers installed on a separate HDD? I am hoping to free up some room on the SSD for updates.

driver software separate

Drivers must be installed on the same partition where Windows is installed, indeed with every driver I've installed you don't get a choice anyway for that very reason.
