Memory controller load 100% GTX 285

Like the titles says, i think this is related to playing rome total, after i win a battle the game crashes to desktop, i check GPUZ and the memory controller is at 100%, ive never seen it at 100% before and now the game is closed its STILL at 100%, is my card going dodgy?

Sometimes ingame when an animation such as a enemy general dies the game sometimes stops and a load meter comes up, i think this is the graphics card trying to catch up, im worried the card is bugged due to getting alot of display driver stopped working crashes with other games too, any ideas?

Reinstall drivers first,

Then load the card using something like Furmark and see if it crashes, it could be something wrong with the card.
