Hello I am thinking about build my first desktop and I'm not sure what to buy. Please help.

-APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Next week

-BUDGET RANGE: $600 USD total /before rebates (might be willing to go up to $750 if worth it)

-SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Movie Editing (ex: Adobe Premiere), ASAP Video conversion, Somewhat gaming (Not often)

-PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS

-PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, frys.com

-COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Nevada, US

-PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel Processor ~3.0gHz+ or less if you think it will handle my needs

-OVERCLOCKING: Maybe / not so sure

-SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe not sure what it means or what's the diffrence.

-MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1280x1024

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Needs to look good and run quietly and fast. I'm also thinking on buying a SSD to install my OS and programs. I would like to have an additional decent sized drive for all my storage.

G.SKILL Phoenix Pro Series FM-25S2S-60GBP2 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

You want us to part out your system?

Do you know how many of these are posted every week?
(and they usually do the research and ask for input on what THEY'VE chosen)

Go AMD for that budget BTW
