Graphics card choice, Nvidia or HD

I'm not a gamer, but use flight simulator,TurboCAD, & Truespace. I've a gforce3 (2001) and need a whole new system. Is there a compelling reason to stay with Nvidia? SLI GTX 460 ?

What about the rest of your specs?
CPU? RAM? MOBO? PSU? Monitor? Budget?

If you're upgrading from a GF3 series, definitely no need to bother with SLi right out of the gate, just unneeded headaches and for you very low utility/return.

As Wa1 asked, what are the rest of the specs and budget?
