Pc shuts down when in sleep mode

My pc shuts down by itself a period of inactivity, if i leave it to go watch tv when i come back sometimes its still open but often its close.

Any suggestions why?

Yes it's entering sleep mode after 30 min

I have had a problem with sleep mode in WinXP, turned out to be a registry key had been changed somehow. I do not have Win7 so I cant be of much help, but have you checked your Power Options and see what the settings are for stand-by mode?

It's different in win 7 but my settings are for maximum power

No, i was wandering why it shuts down after maybe one hour, it never stays on if i do something else
