Hello,
my laptop just dead last week after doing my wor at home. I checked with certified techs and they confirmed my mother gone. OMG. I need help in getting my laptop fix.

If the motherboard is bad, then either get it replaced (and you will run the same risks), or replace the laptop with a different make and model.

Shint happens dude. Deal with it. You can't sue somebody every time you are inconvenienced. Keep it in your pants.

It should have a minimum of 1 year warranty, take it back to where you got it.
If it's out of warranty, tough luck.

You can get a new motherboard for that laptop on eBay. They are rather common (especially because of the 8400 failures). Anyway, there are a couple of Intel and AMD boards for those laptops so pay attention to the model number. You can get one for around $100. The problem is, you have to disassemble the entire laptop to replace the motherboard so it's kind of a pain. It is easier to take apart than alot of other models though ^_^
