Can I raid 0 an older generation Velociraptor with a new one? Just last generations 300GB with a newer 300GB? And what would be the lifespan on those last generation hds?

You can raid them.
The lifespan? Maybe tomorrow, maybe a year, maybe more, but when it dies you will lose the data on the entire raid(both drives), so make sure you have a good backup.

Of course, I would just do it for fun. Never would I put important data on something like that. Thanks man.
