Hey my friend highly recommended you guys here on the forum, he said you all were very nice and possessed extensive knowledge about building comps.

I'd like to get a mobo with an onboard graphics card that can handle 1080i and dual screen monitor, along with a cpu that can handle multi-tasking with many internet windows, pdf manipulation, and word processing.

little to no gaming on this one, although i'm a COH enthusiast.

What's an ideal bang for the buck mobo/cpu that can handle these tasks?

Your help will be invaluable!

For ANY gaming, onboard graphics won't do.

You need:

A P67 or P68 motherboard (Asus or Gigabyte),
Intel i5 2500, i5 2500K (for overclocking), i7 2600 or i7 2600K.
A VGA card. Either ATI or NVIDIA.

You can get an AMD CPU and motherboard (cheaper but less performance then Intel) although I have never used AMD CPUs so maybe someone can help you.

Hmm, I'm also interested to see if anyone knows about having integrated graphics on a motherboard since I can't remember seeing one before, unless it's on a laptop.

I agree with the above poster about integrated graphics not being able to handle any modern-day games so getting a separate graphics card and motherboard is better, both for performance and future upgradability. A good question to ask is how much money are you budgeting for this?
