Budget home recording studio
Sep 1, 2010, 11:46 PM
Doing a bit of research and can only find threads that are about 5 years old, so I am looking for an updated version of events...
I have just got myself a PC, check my sig for details.
I want to be able to record guitar to my PC and then be able to play with it (effects, cut & paste loops etc.)
I'm thinking of getting a Sound Blaster style card and just running with some software(freeware or purchase, I haven't decided yet)
Any and all advice would be appreciated. I am a novice when it comes to the music recording side of things so please be patient with me, and keep it simple
Thanks in advance

Really? No one has any advice (good or bad)?
That's a shame
