Hi all,
Doing a bit of research and can only find threads that are about 5 years old, so I am looking for an updated version of events...

I have just got myself a PC, check my sig for details.

I want to be able to record guitar to my PC and then be able to play with it (effects, cut & paste loops etc.)

I'm thinking of getting a Sound Blaster style card and just running with some software(freeware or purchase, I haven't decided yet)

Any and all advice would be appreciated. I am a novice when it comes to the music recording side of things so please be patient with me, and keep it simple :)

Thanks in advance

Really? No one has any advice (good or bad)?

That's a shame
