Help, please - Gigabyte and Mushkin RAM

I'm getting this mobo from Gigabyte.
Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3 ATX LGA1155 Z68 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3849#ov

With this memory, will it work?
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB 2X4GB PC3-10666 DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 Dual Channel

I see only 2 Mushkin RAM listed as working, but they don't seem to be the right ones.
So I wanted to double check.

  1. The memory qvl listing is never complete. They should work fine. The board makers can't test all the different models and brands.
  2. If you're referring to Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 Model 996770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226095 then it should be fine. Just stick with DDR3 1.50v RAM and for the cost 4GB/stick density.
  3. o1die, that's what a buddy told me.

Jaquith, that'd be the set of RAM.
    Thanks.

Just never know these days, especially since there aren't many reviews about Mushkin.
    But I've heard they're good.
  4. I like Mushkin just fine, your question is will the set you listed 'work' and the answer is -- yes. Not all Mushkin, Corsair, Kingston, GSKILL are equal - those companies place the best IC's in their top line RAM.

It's not tops in my picks for LGA 1155; I prefer DDR3 1600 CAS 8/9 with the Sandy Bridge in most instances. My feeling the extra +$15 is worth the investment in your system.
