Okay so i have been looking into getting this rig
CPU: Phemon II X4 965BE @3.4
GPU: HD 5770
RAM: Samsung 4Gig Dual-DDR3 1333
MB: M4A79XTD EVO
I have done a lot of research into how well this system will perform, i am looking to buy it primarily for FFXIV and recently found out an extremely similar system(HD 5770, 4Gig ram, very similar processor) ran the benchmark on low and gets 4100, which is more than enough for me, i want about 3200 to run with smooth fps and mid level graphics. However the low benchmark uses a 1280 x 720 resolution and i have overlooked this untill i realised just now. My native res is 1680 x 1050 and i would prefer not to change this in game.
So my question is, does the high benchmark mean high settings compared to the low aswell as a higher res or is it just a resolution change? Because i am guessing if i was to use the same settings as the low benchmark but at a higher resolution then the difference might not be so big(On high benchmark the system only gets around 2700 i think)
Thank you
