I want to upgrade my memory from 2 gigs to something respectable and thought buying 2 sets of these would be great, I'd have 16 gigs in total! According to the website my M4A79T supports dual channel memory. Does that mean it supports two sets of dual channel memory though? Will even a single set of Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 Memory work on my machine? I'll list all the parts in my computer just in case it. My question is if this upgrade can be done, or if I will just end up melting my computer down to a whimpering mass of protoplasm.

CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 810
Motherboard: ASUS M4A79T Deluxe
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series
OS: Windows XP 64bit edition

Just in case it turns out this memory will ruin my day, any choice picks on a nice 8 gig or 16 gig memory upgrade are more than welcome!

DDR3 ram is pretty generic; stick with kingston, corsair, crucial, gskill, pny, pqi, or hynix. Newegg has some 1333 2x4 starting at around $62. Check the ram qvl for more recommendations on your board webpage.
