Hello, this is my first build but when I start the computer it says "No hard disc drive detected" and then "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in..." I put my OS WIN7 disc in my DVDRW but nothing happens.

In BIOS I can see my HDD in sATA 1 and DVDRW in sATA 2.

Setup: MB: P6T Deluxe V2 -- PCU: i7 930 -- HDD: Samsung 1 GB FMJ -- DVDRW: Samsung
What to do?

I would make sure that the DVD with Win7 is a retail version (not an upgrade)

Actually I got the DVD from a friend today and he used the same DVD when he installed Win7.

In the bios make sure the DVD drive is the first boot and the HDD is the second boot

The next most obvious problem would be not plugging in either the power or the SATA cable.

Its plugged in I think. ( I pressed once more now and they are pretty tight + I can see Hdd + DVD in BIOS setup.

Btw, I got 650 W Corsair HX for this setup:

i7 930
460 SLI

maybe that could be something? I'ave heard that corsair is pretty strong tho my manual recommend 1000 W for this setup.
