Netvista 8318 g processor upgrade

I'm looking a upgrading my CPU for my nevista8318g pc. Currently on bord is Intel Pentium 4 and chipset Intel 845gv.

Any suggestions?

Hello, and welcome to the Forum.

Hmmm...P4 chips, I believe, are PGA. The only company I know that still does PGA is AMD. Intel does LGA discretely. I would say, get a new mother board, but that would mean a whole new system. Why are you upgrading your system here?

Thanks for the information dogman_1234. I just upgraded my memory modules and I think the problem is solved for now.
