since the introduction of gtx 460 to the market... the budget-conscious performance crown has finally come back to nvidia...

since we're already seen how the SLI GTX 460 trumped the single gtx 480 in benchmarks.... making even the two gtx 460... which are cheaper than single gtx 480... a more viable choice for ethusiast those who looking for the performance
but doesn't want to pay a hell lots of money...

since SLI gtx 460 can thrashed single gtx 480.... but i wonder... can the gtx 460 SLI takes up the challenge against the most expensive current high-end graphics card the HD 5970???

so.... anyone has any thoughts about this??... because 2 gtx 460 are still way cheaper than HD 5970... if it can beat even the hd 5970... then the best Fermi-based desktop graphics that nvidia has ever produced is not gtx 480... but the lower 460....

don't you guys agree??

2 x GTX460's will be roughly 10% slower than a HD5970.

i heard they were planning to use 2 gtx 460 chips on one PCB to make a gtx 485. but its only a rumor, which if it comes to reality i wonder if it could match or even beat the HD 5970...

They come close enough to definitely be worth it for the savings.
