Hello i have a small home network with 3 computers all running XP Pro. Right now i have them all in the same workgroup and they are all capable of file sharing with one another. What i want to do is to isolate two of them in their own workgroup so that the 3rd computer is prompted for a password to access the other two computers. Is this possable and what do i have to do ? .........Thanks

Disable Guest account on the 2 computers you want to isolate.
Create an account on those 2 computers that have the same user/pass and is not on the 3rd computer.
When sharing files between the 2 computers you have "isolated" they will have no problems/no prompts because they will have an account with the same credentials on both comps. When trying to access either comp from the 3rd computer you will be prompted for a user/pass. If the guest account is still on on the 3rd computer the other 2 will have no problems/prompts to access it.
