Hi Guys,

Im building a new PC, Ill be using the system mostly for Heavy Gaming, I have a ACER A1702W (17" ) Monitor and the maximum resolution on it is 1440 x 900, Im not planning to upgrade it until it dies, Im not an Overclocker as I have the belief that it will reduce the product's life(maybe or maybe not :)  ), so below is the list I've nailed down..

Pls help me choosing the best one...

->i5 - 760 processor
->Asus P7P55D-E-LX motherboard (Any other suggestion?)
->A good 2 x 2GB RAM with DDR3 - 1333- 7-7-7-20 (Pls suggest a good one)
->HD 5770 or GTX 260? (pls suggest best one for my resolution)
->Samsung spinpoint F3 1 TB Hard disk or Seagate barracude 7200.12?
->Power supply? (pls suggest which one and how much watts i need)
->Cooler ? (Pls suggest a good one)
->Cabinet ? (Pls suggest a good one)
->Logitech G1 Gaming Desktop(Mice + keyboard) or [Logitech MX518 + Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110] ?
->UPS ? (Pls suggest a good one)
->Bluetooth adapter ? (Pls suggest a good one)

My budget is $1070 dollars to be exact for Indian Rupees 50,000.

I read somewhere that Hd5770 is an overkill for my monitor which has maximum resoultion of 1440 x 900..Should i have to look for lower graphics card then? If so can you guys pls suggest me good card?

Also Is it possible to change to next resolution like 1680 x 1050 in my monitor when playing games even though it says max res is 1440 x 900? will the monitor support it or it will go "Out of sync" ?

Below is my monitor spec page..

http://www.gadgetsguru.in/acer-al-1702w-series-17%27%27...

The reason i dont wanna lose this monitor is it has 16:10 ratio where nowadays its hard to find..all are 16:9.. Also I believe gaming in 16:10 is better than 16:9 right?

And Is there any noticeable difference between 1680 x 1050 and 1440 x 900?

Pls help me out guys, im totally confused..dont wanna spend much on which im not benefiting..thanks for reading my post.. ;)

i5 will be a overkill if you are planning to play at that resolution. i5 are better when you have dual card setups and they are very good for Overclocking which you don't do!

So an AMD quadcore with relatively higher clock speed will be good for you.

I recommend you a Phenom II 955 for Rs 8000

Kingston DDR3 same latency and freq you mentioned :)  (around 5k)

Zotac/XFX/MSI GTX 460 for Rs14000

Corsair 550VX for Rs 4700

Cabinet- NZXT Gamma for Rs2000

Since you won't be OCing stock cooler will be good enough for you.

HD5750 is more than sufficient at 1440x900 and sweet for 1680x1050.

16:10 or 16:9?
