Okay, basically, this computer is about 3 generations old, so a couple of upgrades are needed XD
The game mainly played is cod4, and I'd really like to hit a decent fps instead of the game being REALLY choppy.

What I have:
Geforce 9500GT.
Hardrive.
And all pc accessories.

What I need:
A new mobo
A new intel processor
At least 2 gigs of ram.

I need this for under 200 euro including shipping. So lets say... 180? And, Im located in Ireland. That might help.

This is what I came up with myself:
ASRock G41C
Kingston 2GB (1x2GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C5 667MHz Single Channel Memory Module
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.93GHz (1066FSB) - Retail Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500

Now, can anyone tell me, if that rig, with a 9500gt, well get decent fps? :) Thanks :D

The 9500gt will hold you back in newer games, but should be able to handle DX-10 games on lower settings.

With shipping, it's less than $150 USD.

With the rebate and shipping, it's under $200 USD.

1 US dollars = 0.7788 euros.

All together, it should be around 155 Euros.

That graphics card would be a much better upgrade, on sale for 70 USD with MIR.

That would still keep the Mobo/CPU/RAM/GPU under 200 Euro.
If you wanted DX-11 to make your system last longer,

Also, just noticed Newegg won't ship to where you live lol.
Let me look them up on tiger direct.

That graphics card you listed Jaguarmatt is better than the 9500gt? Is it much better?
And, are you sure newegg ship to ireland?

They don't ship to Ireland :( That would have been nice. Grr :L
Anyone else can come up with something like that except a European/UK/Irish site? Preferably :p

Your graphics card is a bit old, but it may still run well.

Wait until you get the newer parts for your computer, the gpu prices drop all the time. The 9500gt should do for now.

It has a dual-core processor and ddr3 in dual channel.

x2 Memory/1GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM

Didn't mean to link the other ram, that was ram I was looking at for my computer lol.

What are you current specs? Would be easier to tell you how much of an upgrade it would be.

If you plan on upgrading the ram later, get 1 2gb piece.

If you want to take advantage of a faster computer now, get 2 1gb sticks.

It looks to me like the processor and ram were holding you back.
You should notice a huge difference with a Athlon II X2 and 2gb of ram.

Should be almost the same price, if not, dual-channeling isn't all that important anyway.

It might mean 1 fps at stock speeds, a few fps when overclocked.
Not really a big deal, just better to utilize it if the amount of memory is the same price.
