Which card to buy?

Hoping some of you can help. I have a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD mobo. Its max is a PCI x16. I am able to get a PCI x16 2.0 since it is backwards compatible. However, I am trying to see which of these cards would be the better value. I mainly will play SC2. My current card just isn’t fast enough. What do you think of these two?

N250GTS TwinFrozr 1G OC GeForce GTS 250 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 for $99 total (after rebate): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Or

EVGA 896-P3-1260-RX GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit DDR3 for $148: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Any feedback you guys could provide would be awesome. The second card is $50 more, but is it worth it for the higher bit rate and a newer model?

Thank you.

The GTX 260 is faster. They are about the same performance per dollar at those prices, but you may not need more than a GTS 250 to max SC2 out. What resolution do you play at? Do you plan to play 8x Anti-Aliasing?

Not sure what resolution I would play at, but I have a 19 inch flat screen TV that I use as a monitor. I'm not at home so I can't check. Not sure if I would play at 8x or not.

Why would you definitely go for the 250?

Well if you only have a 19" monitor then the $50 more GTX 260 wont benifit you, i recommend just getting the GTS 250 if you have a 19" monitor it should be able to max out any game. if you have a larger monitor say a 22" or a 24" then the GTX 260 be the better choice.
