This is going to be around the $1k price margin, and I was wondering what you guys think of it. It's purpose is to basically be a gaming computer (how original!).

I just wanted to post my list here and see if you guys can critique it a little for me. I attached the links, too.

Okay. Gonna swap out the current CPU for your cheaper alternative. Also going to get the xfx psu. 650 watts has to be plenty. Great suggestions, obsidian!

If you do need a DVD Burner, you can combo it with that motherboard and save some money:

It's hard to say. If they don't sell out of one of the products, combo deals can last until the end of the month.


If you can live without the lifetime warranty, this combo of a Gigabyte GTX 470 and the same memory is $30 cheaper:
