Also wondering if its worth waiting till the weekend to get labor day sales???

USES: Gaming (sc2, just cause 2) and whatever else i buy
Overclock: yes
SLI/Crossfire: dont know, it would be nice to have the option though
Parts: new egg or microcenter
Purchase: now or wait for deals?

Is there anything glaringly obvious with ether of these builds? I need to decide on one. I really appreciate the input.

Build 1 is faster and more modern with USB3 and a 5850 GPU.

Build 2s only advantage is the potential to for the boost of adding a second 460 in SLI in the future. You lose USB3/SATA3 and have an old nforce chipset.

I dont think having a weaker GPU now is worth it for the minor speed advantage you would have in the future with a second 460 vs a second 5850. When you factor in losing USB3 and SATA3 (for a fast SSD upgrade) I dont like it.

Mind posting links to those combo deals? I'm building a similar PC but I think I may rather go with that 5870 If I can get it at that price...almost identical build. Thanks man. For Build 1.

My main concern is the MOBO/RAM. Are they OK? does anyone have a better recommendation
