Hello,
I am wondering if the newer A+ exam is much different than the older one. I believe the older versions are 220-301/2 and the newer versions are 220-701/2 (2009)

Do they scrap all the old questions, or do they just update them and add a few? I want to know if some older study material will be a waste of time.

Thanks.

I am not an A+ personnel, but with the FAA exam, they use the same questions...just reword them. When regulations,( or in your case technology) change, the guidance principles change as well. You may see some things new, but you should also see some familiar topics as well.
