Hi,

I have a DI-604 but I also have sygate installed in my main pc.

I have my router pretty much water tight configured ( no pings from WAN, no ports open, no application specific ports, etc etc). Nothing from WAN to LAN... zero, zip nada de nada...

Somehow there is traffic that sygate is catching. Somehow I get pings from the WAN side routed to my main computer in my LAN side. I even got a communtion to open WAG port from WAN in my computer ?? ( I have the full packet if sombody is insteresting in disecting)

Is the DI-604 not up to the standards with wholes in several places or sygate is looking for ghosts ??

I get between 4000-5000 attacks to my router every day. At least blobked in the router log. There are a very few ones that scape the router.

Any hints appreciated.

Thanks.

JCG

PD: getting tech support from D-link is like hitting a wall. I have called, the US, UK and Spain... Think about next time you need to buy anything from them...
