Hello,
Just looking to put SC2 on my laptop. Not too sure if it will run on me video card. I have the ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card. Onboard. I have Windows 7 and enough RAM and processor speed.
I'm looking to run it without lag on it's lowest settings.

Solution
I think it would run but, not very well, the cpu is lacking, and the vid card is lacking. you are better the minimum stats, but yea. if you ran it at lowest res, should be playable, otherwise go [strike]and spend $70 or less on a new videocard http://www.amazon.com/Radeon-HD4670-DDR2-PCI-Express/dp/B002O0KVJO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1280514046&sr=8-2[/strike]

sorry about that, forgot you were on a laptop, I would still agree that it WILL run, just not very well on the lowest settings, have fun with campaign and stay in smaller games in multiplayer :D

Depends on what enough RAM and Proccessor speed and amount of cores is. Games like StarCraft at low graphics tend to be more stressful on the CPU then the graphics card, I would doubt the graphics card would have much of an issue with it on lowest settings, depending on resolution, 1440x900 should be fine, anything higher and may see some hiccups

Sais, "Recommended for PC are a Dual Core 2.4Ghz processor, 2GB of RAM and either a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or ATI Radeon HD 3870. Anything newer equals better, obviously - but a Voodoo2 will no longer cut the mustard"

I assume you would barely get through on your cpu (it would be OK), but your onboard gpu wouldn't make it through (correct me if i'm wrong...).

Well thats the recommended not the required gpu. And I'm really only looking to scrape by anyway.
Mostly I don't want to go and buy the game and them find that it won't run at all.
