Mobo, CPU, or VC?

I have a very frustrating problem with my computer. Even though I am somewhat knowledgeable of computers, I cannot figure it out for the life of me.

Here's the problem: I turn on my PC, no beeps or anything, it just runs, but the monitor is not getting any signal and is showing up blank. I've tried a different video card with the same results. I have tried a different motherboard with the same results. I remember when I had this computer running all the way to the OS, I believe the problem first occurred right after I installed some sort of chipset driver; the comp just restarted and I had no output to the monitor after that.

So, any suggestions?

Sorry about the late response. no, the motherboard doesn't have discrete graphics. I have a video card in the PCI express slot.
