BIOS vs CPU-Z

I have two 4GB sticks of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM in my build. BIOS says that my memory is running at a frequency of 1605.15 MHz, but both CPU-Z and SIW say 800 MHz. What is going on here? I have never known CPU-Z to give readings that far off. Any way I can determine which is giving correct readings?

CPU-Z and SIW display the real clock speed which has to be multiplied by 2 for DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM. Therefore everything is fine.

I see. I knew what DDR meant, but that never occurred to me. I thought something might have been wrong with my memory and my BIOS. Thank you GhislainG.
