Can someone recommend a nice sub $200 monitor maybe 1920x1080 or 1200 and fast response.
  11. Make sure you use the promo code EMCYXYV29 to get those drives for $60 less.

And the promo code XFXPOWER to get the power supply for $22.50 less.
  12. when do those promo codes expire?

when do those promo codes expire?

The one on the hard drives expires on 9/13; the one for the power supply has been around for a month and may last longer.

It isn't worth getting those hard drives without the promo code.
  14. thanks
  15. what do you guys think of this monitor.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001378

and should i get a different cpu fan or keep it stock.

That's a decent monitor. You can get a more efficient, longer lasting, and better looking LED backlit monitor for that price, though. All of these monitors are LED Backlit, and they have excellent reviews/feedback:

Samsung 21.5" LED Backlit 1920x1080 Monitor for $180:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001417

ASUS 23" LED Backlit 1920x1080 Monitor for $200:

Samsung 23" LED Backlit 1920x1080 Monitor for $220:

Otherwise, if you want to save money, there are much cheaper high quality, standard LCDs:

    ASUS 23" 1920x1080 Monitor for $150 after $20 rebate.

If you plan to overclock, you should get a different CPU cooler. You could wait until you decide to start overclocking to replace the stock one.

Those are both good choices. :D
  18. Got everything together and is working like a charm.
