i have just put a new pc together 12hrs old, and ever time i load windows i get to the splash screen and it sounds like what my hard drive is doing is coming thought my head phones. its a loud hiss and scratches, taken the 2 SSD out of rad0 , reinstalled drivers old and new, reformatted, and i still get this hiss, all so updated the BIOS please heap its doing my heading as i cant do any audio related thing on my pc, btw the right Chanel dose not come thought and the headphones work good ROCCAT kanes 5.1

It's not any other hardware problem, it's your MoBo's sound plug that's the problem which may got mess-up when you hit it or something... It's best if you get a sound card...

Legendkiller there was a problem with the analog output on the motherboard so instead of waiting 2 weeks for a new one i did what you said and go a sound card thanks for your help
