I highly recommend the ASRock P67 Pro3 board, as that is the one in my system. No problems at all, and overclocks my 2500K to 4.8GHz. The only thing I regret is that it's not SLI capable -- it would be nice to just be able to install another graphics card for a performance boost in future games.
then if i get a msi p67-gda55 and insert a gtx 560ti in it ..after 2 years can i sli it with my 650wpsu..but this gtx 560ti will last for 2 years and most of the cards will stops production of these cards and i have to buy a second hand so only im looking fora single slot card..and what is ur cpu cooler ,case ,psu and graphics card
Sorry, I thought I had already answered the questions.
CPU cooler: EK-KIT H3O Supreme HF 360 water cooling kit (I had used a Scythe Rasetsu and a Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B air cooler for this same overclock before getting the water cooling kit)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 w/ six Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F fans
Power supply: SeaSonic SS-560KM 560W
Graphics card: Palit GTX 570 Sonic (factory overclock: 750 core @ 1.025v, 3900 memory; my overclock: 830 core @ 1.025v, 4200 memory)
Three pics of my rig here: Linky! It's the same as that now, only with a Kingston SSDNow V+100 96GB SSD boot drive -- just added that yesterday.
mine is a air cooled one ..cooler master hyper 212 plus fan can i overclock it to 4.5ghz..my case is a cheap one aerocool vx-r it has only one rear and front fan..if i overclock it to 4.5 ghz and a overclocked gtx 570 will it create more noise ...i saw tomshardware cases benchmarks though rosewill challenmger tops i liked the aerocool style so i brought it is this case enough for a silent gaming
