Booting system

Trying to boot my computer but whenever it starts to boot, it tell me bootable device not found reboot or install bootable device.
The windows does not log on to my desk top since this error keeps on coming, what should i do pls help me?

Go into your BIOs, see if your motherboard detects your HDD, and then manually change the order of your boot devices. Bootable devices are the CD/DVD, USB, HDD, and Floppy.
