Overheating???

Have a Dell, Desktop Computer Studio 8100 XPS, Intel i7 800, 3.06 MHz.. Window 7, Professional. Core #1 is 80 C, core 2


is 79 c, core 3 is 77 c and core 4 is 76. Is this too high a temperature. just running BOINC projects 24/7. Room temp. is 70 F.


If this temp is too high what recommendations do you have. Computer next to window with dual exhaust windows fans.

Fans are working...only have a Power supply and CPU fan. Heat sink on CPU seems secure. Do you have a recommend cooling supply for this computer?

get zalman 9700/9900 cpu cooler run quiet and efficent in europe its about 40e
easy instal only danger is cuts from cooler fins (0.2mm)

Get an air hose and blow the crap out of it. Use up to 90psi and really get the dust out of it (especially the fan blades). You will be surprised how much this helps.
