No Virtual Disk No Physical Disk?

we have 7 sata drives. All result in same message, drive needs to be initialized. Upon doing so 'drive not ready' message.
suggestions?

Have these drives been formatted before?

Before you use a drive, the drive needs to be initialised. Then you need to partition the drive, and format the partition/s. Only then is the drive ready for use.

My suggestion would be to get someone knowledgeable in to help you.

First problem is you dont know how to deal with sata drives. It matters how they were initialized - AHCI, IDE, etc. You would have to tell us that part.
Second problem is you are asking complete strangers on a forum to help you with something you dont understand.
