Hello All :hello:

I'm trying to get a better case for my pc, but I have no clue as to where to find them. All the cases at my local shops are ugly and bulky. Is there a smaller designer case for this motherboard (Supermicro PDSMA+)? If I'm stuck using a big case I would like to have a dell xps 630 case (or something very similar) which will hold my motherboard. Can you buy just the xps case?

Current case measurements: height: 19 inches, Length: 08 inches, Width: 15 inches

Pics (Sorry for the bad pics. They're from the eBay auction):

Hello adrian2055, Welcome to THW.

If you live in the USA or Canada then Newegg.com is the BEST place to find yourself a nice PC case. If your not in either of those countries, let us know where you live or otherwise we really cannot answer your question.

Thanks for the welcome and for the fast replies. Sorry for leaving that info out. I'm in the USA, but I didn't know that newegg sold cases.

This is my current system:

SupreMicro PDSMA+ Motherboard
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition Service Pack 2 (32-Bit)
Intel Core2Quad Q6000 (2.4GHz, 8MB L2 cache)
Dell IN1910N 19'' Flat Panel Monitor
1GB DDR2 RAM (Expandable To 8GB)
80GB Western Digital Internal SATA Hard Drive
250GB Western Digital External Hard Drive
Sony AW-Q170A 18x Internal DVD±R/RW Drive
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128 PCI Graphics Card
Envy24 Family Audio Controller WDM
Intel PRO/1000 PL Network Connection
Intel PRO/1000 PM Network Connection
5 USB Ports
5 PCI Slots
1 PCI-X Slot
1 PCI-e 8x Slot

As for the case my prefered colors are black and silver. I can deal with some blue being mixed in, but not a lot. I don't need carry handles. I'm not sure how much cases cost, but I know that I really don't want to spend more than $150. As for the components I do need more ram (4 2GB sticks), a better video card and a bigger hard.

Hey Adrian,

Also worth taking a look at: Antec, I am a HUGE fan of the Antec 300(But thats proably cause I use one :) ) and Lian-li also makes some very high quality cases, but there top models can get quite pricey. And as already mentioned by Emperus is Cooler Master who are known for making very well ventilated cases and including some very useful features into their cases.

I sure you know by now, but here is the link to Newegg.com PC case section: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=7&name=Computer-Cases , just use the search on the side to narrow down what your looking for.
