Wierd graphics glitch in my games

I get this very bizarre glitch in the visuals when playing my games. For some reason it happens more often when I disable vertical-sync. My specs are: intel core 2 quad Q9400, 2GB DDR2-800 ram g.skill, gigabyte p43-ud3l motherboard, and xfx 8800GT alpha dog edition video card.

What is causing all these glitches? I am thinking my graphics card but im also thinking maybe my ram. I've seen artifacting before that was caused by the gpu but nothing like this.

Seems like your cards on its way out (Bad V-Ram)
Is the card overclocked?

That picture in Goldshire acutally looks really cool.

You're right that doesn't look like normal artifacting, but I have to ask have you stress tested your GPU? You can run Furmark with GPU-z in the background and see what kind of tempuratures you get.

Also does it only happen in Wow? Or other games as well?
