Moving to usb 3.0

Hello, With usb 3.0 products coming into the market, what will be the best option to upgrade desktop pc's not currently supporting usb 3.0, bios or chipset driver upgrade, add-on card, or motherboard upgrades? Thanks.

Motherboard upgrade to one that supports usb 3.0, there are pci slotcards for it, but I believe the mobo must be usb3.0 compatible to gain the full benefit

i thought the whole point of the pcie cards with 2 usb 3.0 ports or whatever was for systems without any usb. otherwise, you could use the internal headers. the card is an entirely seperate usb controller that just happens to get its I/O from the pcie slot.

they sell them for about $50 online.
