I was trying to buy more ram. Listed below is what I currently have. I wanted to combine it with 2 more sticks. I listed all the specs below. I'd like to stay below 80 dollars, but I also want the best. I keep seeing low cas memory, but it's all brands like G.Skill. I like to stay with Kingston or Corsair. However if theres another brand of memory that someone can recommend i'd give it a shot.

Mobo:MSI 790GX-G65
DDR3 Memory DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600(OC)
Memory Channel Dual
DIMM Slots 4
Max Memory (GB) 16

I currently have Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800).

The usual recommendation is to use the same RAM - that RAM you pointed at is $85, which is close to the price you list.

You missed one important part to the spec - that RAM is 8-8-8-24. You should try to match that if you choose to use RAM other than the one you pointed to.

BTW: GSkill is a perfectly good brand - I use it myself.

So just buying another 2x2gb of the same thing should do? I really wanted to take what I had out, and replace it with something better. Kingston vs. G.Skill?

Why the hell is that Kingston so expensive? It's over twice the price of competing 4GB kits, and no way is it worth it.

Here's an 8GB 1.65v kit of almost the same stuff you have: Linky. I couldn't find a Kingston 8GB kit with CL8 though.

Here's an 8GB kit of Corsair 1600 CL8 1.5v: Linky

Here's an 8GB kit of G.Skill 1600 CL8 1.5v: Linky

Note that both the Corsair and G.Skill have tall heat spreaders, which may cause clearance problems with your CPU cooler. It depends on what memory slots you use and if you have a huge CPU cooler.
