Will upgrading my SSD make much of a speed difference to me?
Dec 16, 2012, 8:34 PM
I have an older 80 GB Intel X25m SSD. 70 MB write and 250 MB read.
Will upgrading to one of the newer performance SSDs like the Samsung 840 make much of a difference other than increasing storage capacity?
I know the Samsung is much faster than my current SSD, I'm just wondering if it's worth the cost to upgrade.

I doubt that other than in benchmarks you'd notice the difference. If anything a fresh reinstall of windows would do wonders.
