Choosing between two drives.

I am looking at going ssd for my system. It has an x58 chipset and I believe sata I.
I am trying to choose between the crucial m4 256 mb and the ocz vertex 4 256 mb. Both can be had for right around $200. Which is the better drive?
I plan on getting two down the line to run in raid 0 for more space. Is this a good idea?
