:hello:  I have just purchased the aforementioned card (second hand) and installed it on my computer to replace the gefoce fx5200 which was giving me issues when trying to play Far Cry Delta Section.
Now, with the Asus A9250, when I double click the FC icon on my desktop I get an immediate Blue Screen crash. On reboot the windows help? (ha ha) says card does not support DirectX 9. On the box (card) it specifies dx9.
If I try to install the drivers from the supplied manufacturers disc it says \'Install service pack first.Install abort.\'
If I try to find drivers on the net it always (no matter what link I take) tries to download Driver Detective. Also my desktop will only run Win 7 Basic. Is it possible to get Win 7 supported drivers without Driver Detective or should I just reinstall FX5200? I thought I was upgrading?

I'm sure there is a driver/fix for your problem, but according to these threads, the difference in those two cards is so unnoticable that there is no point in going through the effort to try an fix your problem.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick and direct reply. I was beginning to suspect that it wasn't much of an upgrade. I guess the increase from the FX's 128mb memory to the A9250's 256mb fooled me.

Cheers
