I recently installed a shareware application the gives me CPU temps for all four of my AMD cores along the tray at the bottom of my wallpaper. I read 19 C when the system is idle and the room is cold (65 F) and as high as 29 C when I play CFS 3. Are these temps accurate? The last PC that I built had temps as high as 43 C and although I have a huge CPU cooler with heatpipes and 5 inch fan, I'm suprised how low these temps seem.
More aboutaccurate gigabyte temps
Software is never 100% accurate, they maybe out by a degree or two, best to run a few and get a good idea of differences, normally only the bios give accurate readings.
