Is This A Good PSU For These Specs?

Forum CPU & Components : Power Supplies, Cases & Mods Is This A Good PSU For These Specs?

Word :    Username :

My friends about to purchase a Corsior TX650W PSU and I was wondering if it's a good PSU for the following:

CPU - Q6600 @ 3.3Ghz (OC)
RAM - 2 x 2GB DDR2 800Mhz
GPU - OC'd SLI 8800GTS G92 512MB
HDD - 3 x 250GB Sata HDD
FAN - 2 x 120MM and 2 x 80MM
MMC: Memory Card Reader
DVD: DVD/RW Rewriter
USB: Keyboard, Mouse, and a few other goodies.

Thanks!

Yep and it leaves him plenty of room to upgrade his graphics and even use it when he does a complete system upgrade.

Thanks. For the GPU, what type of GPU do you think he could get as an future upgrade to replace the SLI (or even go SLI again) without killing the PSU? GTX480? :D

No 2 x GTX 480s needs 850w or better. He would be ok up to 2 x GTX470s though.

Edit: One of either would be fine though.
