I have a problem with crash in windows 7 64bit

Asus P5KPRO bios (0701) i need to update?
Q6600
4Gb ram (corsair-buffalo mix)

i have just change the ram 4x2GB KVR 800D2N6/2G of kingston 800MHz Cl6

i need to change settings in the bios(now is all auto) or i need to reinstall all programs

at start pc, the bios recognize 8 Gb in dual channel with no broblem (memtest scan is OK 0 problem)
PC work with firefox no problem; but when i lunch premiere pro, TAK blue screen crash mem

i think the solution is update bios, but i'm little bit fear (i work with this PC)
help me please

What's the error code? How long did you run Memtest? Did you let it run for at least 2 complete pass?

Edit: Since you're using four dual-sided 2 GB modules (a configuration that isn't officially supported on that motherboard), you may have to increase the memory and the northbridge voltages a bit.

I think not in dual channel, but anything problem with this 4 x 1 Gb
 
You are correct; they probably didn't run in dual channel mode. Can you reintall the old modules to make 100% sure that the problem doesn't occur? I presume that the old modules are single-sided (8 chips) while the new ones are double-sided (16 chips).

If you can't reinstall the old modules, check the memory voltage and the northbridge voltage.
