Reformatting Kingston dt101 g2

I have a Kingston DT101 G2 usb drive which is formated in FAT32. Since I have some files larger than 4Gig which I need to load, I have been trying to reformat to exFAT with no success. Windows Explorer gives me the exFat option, but it doesn't work.

  1. Try NTFS if available
  2. Thanks, but NTFS is not even offered as a format option. I have been able to reformat an older 8 Gig flash drive with the same computer and Windows XP, so I am guessing that the problem is specific to this new drive.
