For my new build, I realised that I might be too cheap on the motherboard and too focused on ASUS which is the only kind of board I've had.

I wanted the cheapest ASUS Z68 which is the new P8Z68-V LE for 135$ http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/236345/P8Z68-V%20LE/ASUS/
But it looks very new and nobody has reviewed it yet so I'm not very confortable buying it.

Then I thought, well might as well spend a little more like on this one:
ASUS P8Z68-V 176$ https://www.bestdirect.ca/products/235020/P8Z68-V/ASUS/

Then I decided to check in other brand like GIGABYTE and found that board:
GIGABYTE Z68X-UD3H-B3 173$ - 10$ instant rebate - 30$ manufactuer's mail-in rebate = 133$!!! http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=61002

The Gigabyte looks like a very good product.

They basically have the same features but I was wondering what people prefer and what kind of performance I should expect.

I will put a i5 2500k in it as well + 8gb ram.

Thanks!
