Why my internet conection is lost after a several minutes

Hello,

When I turn on my computer, I am able to surf the internet via internet
explorer for several minutes, and then internet explorer stops working, as
if my internet connection was lost; but the connection is not actually lost,
as I can do all other internet related things (instant messenger, p2p,
etc.). A restart fixes the problem (again, only for several minutes).

Which version of IE are you running? If 8, revert to 7 or if an earlier version, try updating. Better still use a different browser - Firefox for example. This problem could also be down to your security level or your firewall disapproving of somewhere you want to go.
