Everything is compatible.

Question: What is the system going to be used for and are you interested in advice?

Get a cheaper mobo, unless you're planning on buying quad/tri SLI/Xfire cards. If you just want to do 2x SLI/Xfire you can better get a waaaay cheaper mobo, it'll save you money for:

Better PSU(it's a good PSU, but the wattage is too low for 2 6870's if you want to upgrade soon)
2 HD 6850's of 2 GTX 460's(the Gygabytes are good, 6850 and 460 both have the cool coolers which will keep it @ 45C in a regular game, had a single one)

Do you really need a six-core? It won't give you more performance in games then a X4 955, unless you're playing a quad-optimized game and running a browser, mailclient, download, and installer @ the same time, you can do all those things with the X4 too when you keep a single GPU, which won't stress the CPU that much. I suggest:

Antec 902 Nine Hundred Two Black ATX Case - No PSU(your own favourite, cant advice you on this one)

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE

Asus M4N98TD EVO SLI nForce 980A

Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B

Antec TruePower 650W(same)

2x Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 1GB with the "cool" cooler

Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Non-ECC (9-9-9-24) 1.50V

Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cach

windows 7 home premium

I guess this is your cheapest setup, prices are based on EU/holland, but I'm sure there isn't too much difference in the US
